A global investment bank, whose head office is based in Australia, is seeking for an experienced ASP .Net developer. They are setting up the pioneering I.T. team in Manila, which will be the hub for the Asia Pacific Region.
Responsibilities include:
- designing and developing ASP .NET Web and Java based tools for use by global IT operational teams
- start-to-finish application development including requirements gathering, analysis, coding and the eventual implementation of a production system with associated user interfaces,
- assisting with both system and user acceptance testing
Characteristics essential for the job are:
- able to deliver solutions to a high level of quality
- good understanding of HTML and CSS
- experience in dealing with software vendors
- good written and verbal communication skills
- prepared to travel to other offices both within the region and potientially to other continents
- proven ability to work across cultures with a geographically dispersed user community
- proactive and analytical problem solving skills
- an ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
