Crystal Reports Developer
Responsibilities:
* The job owner takes responsibility for the translation and writing of detailed technical specifications and designs into code and configurations for the Crystal Reports development.
* The job owner will implement Cyrstal Reports development related to projects initiated by the Business or internal to the IT organization. He will help in defining reporting developments standards and ensure support for live applications.
* Ensure in collaboration with designers, technical architect and project manager the implementation of Crystal Reports related development in a timely and quality fashion. This includes the translation of functional specifications into detailed designs and Crystal Reports script code as well as unit and system testing – Quality and delay defined by the manager – 50%
* Assist the technical architect and manager by defining standards and methodologies as well as tools to be used – technical propositions – 5%
* Ensure the quality of the development by implementing best practice designs, documenting the code appropriately, defining standards and reusable layouts and techniques.
* Reports performance must match with SLAs defined - well defined and efficient developments according to standards and processes in place, quality of documentation. Tests results. – 15%
* Ensure the 3rd level support of in-house database development in collaboration with other development team members by providing help and a very good support to testing and infrastructure team. – Time response, satisfaction and ability to fix issues – 30%
* Assist in the maintenance of the Quality Management System.
Requirements:
* Degree of equivalent in Computer Science or related subject
* 5 years of relevant Crystal Reports development experience
* 5 years of relevant Oracle 10g, PL/SQL-SQL development experience
Data warehouse and Business Intelligence knowledge
* 1 year background on OLAP reporting tools is a plus
