Senior Procurement Analyst (IRC2657)
 

Responsibilities:

Performs tasks that relate to supplier and commodity performance. Works with Ohio and Mexicali Procurement Managers on tasks and projects related to the improvement of supplier information, performance and LNA strategic objectives.
Works with suppliers in providing training on e-procurement, policies and procedures;
Analyzes supplier data to determine root cause analysis of performance issues;
Develops strategies to improve supplier performance related on-time delivery, cost reductions, lead time reductions and service improvements;
Leads LNA Procurement projects as required to meet objectives;
Analyzes current processes and procedures for improvement opportunities, develops project plan and manage implementation.


Requirements:


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s/College Degree , Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
Extensive experience in analytical reporting or closely related business management experience.
Understands basic concepts of Emerson supply chain (for internal candidates); comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain concepts (for external candidates).
Experience in Supply-based management and supplier development and supplier development.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel.
Ability to manage projects and coordinate efforts with multiple groups.
Ability to identify processes needing improvement and recommend changes.
Preferred:
Supply chain, logistics or transportation industry experience.
Knowledge in MS Access.
