Sales Analyst Associate (IRC2669)
 

Responsibilities:

To utilize sales reports and analysis of both internal and external customer data. These functions include, but are not limited to, all ongoing and on demand analytical tasks, with an emphasis on deriving business meaning from data. This position will also oversee Sales Order Management duties, including daily and weekly reconciliation of sales consignment program as well as other sales duties.
Preparation of InSinkErator monthly, weekly and daily internal sales report;
Preparation of weekly retailer point of sales reports.
Analysis of fundamental of retail demand and inventory trends:
Prepares analysis and recommendations used to generate monthly retail order and shipment forecasts.
Monitors product mix trends.
Participates in monthly sales forecast meetings and weekly sales staff meetings.
Monitors retail average selling prices and discounts.
Store by store review to identify excess inventory on active skus.
New product execution tracking-reviews POS sales versus on-hand quantity to determine if inventory is available and if sales exist in a given store location.
Large market comparative analysis-identifies large markets (over 10 stores) with potential problems in regard to negative comps and comparing retailer performance.

Requirements:


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s/College Degree, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing or equivalent.
One (1) to two (2) years of related experience.
Demonstrated strong MS Office skills with proven ability in statistical analysis, marketing research, and/or quantitative problem solving.
Experience required in Business Intelligence Software Tools, specifically COGNOS.
Proficient in English, appropriate accent and pronunciation of words, speech techniques, vocabulary and grammar.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven presentation skills required.
