Order Entry Administrator (IRC2685)

 

Responsibilities:

To ensure and maintain high level of customer service by taking ownership of customer enquiries and handling of orders from receipt to the closure of sales.

Reviews more complex orders for:
Technical conformance as in valid model options and calibration ranges;
Checks commercial terms and conditions to ensure compliance to prior agreements and Emerson Process Management established guidelines;
Ensures that documentation and inspection requirements are complete;
Determines product requirement and sourcing locations, if needed;
Communicates parts for set up to manufacturing engineers, excluding buy-out parts;
Obtains documents for end-user set-up and/or sold to address set-up and ensures set-up is made before entry.
Performs accurate and timely (within the goal set by management) order entry into the JDE system to allow effective performance to customer requirements:
Assures all order details are accurate and in conformance with the customer needs and factory capabilities;
Assures that orders are entered properly to communicate requirements to other groups;
Ensures all orders are routed and processed within the agreed service level.
Acts as liaison to assure timely and efficient administration of orders:
Ensures accuracy of order entry by performing audits to other Order Entry Administrators, including one’s self. Logs errors found to provide accurate data to divisions.
Enters post sales warranty orders, while ensuring all pertinent documents are passed / submitted accordingly.
Others:
Keeps management team informed of areas of conflict that go unresolved or may pose a threat to Emerson Process Management’s relationship with customers.
Participates in continuous improvement activities.
Updates and maintains accurate order status in the JDE system inclusive of accurate maintenance of date fields for service level and order status reporting.
Enters estimate orders to drive materials while ensuring official PO is received in accordance with the estimated order requests, if necessary.
Generates reports and performs analysis for Management, when needed.
Provides backup coverage for the other administrators, as and when required.
Provides training and work direction for other administrators, when needed.
Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements:


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s/College Degree, any field.
